The prices shown apply nationwide for the purchase of Motability Managed Adaptations for cars on the Contract Hire Scheme. Where a price is shown as ‘NIL’, there is no additional cost to have this adaptation fitted to your new car at the time of application. Many other prices have been signifigantly reduced from the Manufacturer's Recommended Price. All prices include installation and any maintenance where required. Further adjustments carried out by your installer may result in an additional charge. The products shown are available from the beginning of July 2010 and Motability Operations reserves the right to withdraw products at any time.

The importance of a test drive and considering safety in your car
- When choosing adaptations, in particular boot-mounted hoists or lifts, it is important to ensure that the adaptation, your chosen car and any other equipment used, such as a wheelchair or scooter, are compatible with each other.
- You should check the storage space in the car, and the lifting weight of the adaptation to ensure that your wheelchair or scooter can be lifted and stored properly.
- For safety whilst travelling, it is recommended that you secure your wheelchair or scooter with compatible tie-downs.
It is strongly recommended that you discuss these issues with your adaptations installer prior to making your choice of adaptation or vehicle.
